The mission
Being a software developer by trade, I quickly came to realize that balancing a demanding day job with a proper workout routine was not a walk in the park - and even more challenging with a social life. I tried all sorts of schedules and daily routines, but never felt like I had the time or energy to workout. As I became more serious about my training over the years, this dilemma increasingly bothered me.
Why is it so hard for us to live productive lives while also staying in shape? Why do we need to sacrifice so much to reach our fitness goals? Can’t a healthy, personalized workout routine just be handed to us? After years of searching for the perfect, universal solution to balancing life with a solid fitness plan, I’ve finally figured it out.

It doesn’t exist.

Each of us - with our jobs, personal lives, hobbies, and countless other life things - requires a regimen that’s specific to our individual lifestyles. Sure, there are thousands of “get fit quick” programs out there that'll swear to get you stronger, slimmer, sexier…allegedly.

But here's the problem. The 3-week beach bod program you found online doesn’t know anything about you. It doesn’t know about the tendonitis you’ve had in your knee for the past 5 years, or the bad back you've had since that car accident. It doesn’t know that your posture is imbalanced from sitting funny at your desk, or that you work late on Tuesdays. That program has no idea that you only ate 1 meal today, or that you’ve been averaging a solid 3 hours of sleep this week. All that program knows is that someone wants to lose weight.

These are all aspects that can impact your training, and therefore impact your results. So aside from seeing minimal progress from that “beach bod” program, you might even hurt yourself trying. Even if you do manage to see some decent gains in those 3 weeks, the program probably taught you nothing about keeping them. You’ll be back to square 1 before you know it.
